The KYD Cabin

After years of sharing the cabin with the KYD Community, it was time to sell and reinvest in our next Daydream in Michigan. We share more about that decision in this Q&A video.

If you’re new here, we purchased a commercial property in Spring Lake, MI (near Grand Haven on the west side of Michigan) to create Daydream Depot Café & Bakery. It’s a new way for us to continue serving the KYD Community.

“Keeping your daydream” is not always an easy decision. We loved the cabin and we had years of special memories and enjoyed reading the guestbook after a season of travel. But our family is growing (again) now was the right time to make new memories.

We hope you come visit us in Michigan! We’ll post more information soon. Right now, we’re shooting to open in the early summer of 2027.
